For the last decade my focus has been on the socialization and education of the needs of the small breed dogs, especially Bichon, Havanese, and their cousins. I have a senior Rescued Bichon from the Humane Society. At the time I did not know anything about the breed, but I have since adopted this breed and worked hard to learn as much as I could about this Breed. I started my first Small Dog Meetup in 2006 in Boulder, CO. So often Dog Parks have a separate fenced Small Dog area that are empty 95% of the time. I wanted to let others know when other people with small dogs would be available to befriend their dogs. Since then the idea has evolved to finding real friendships of others with the same ideas. The more I learned the more I wanted to share with others. I am hoping to never stop learning about how these little animals and humans can help each other with healing, companionship and just plain FUN TImes. Hope you join us in the journey and also add your expertise.
