THE HUMAN FOODS DOGS CAN EAT (PLUS, THE ONES THEY CAN’T)

Human Foods Dogs Can Eat 1

Whenever you open your refrigerator or kitchen pantry to grab a snack, does your fur baby follow? Does he give you that excited look, like he’s definitely going to get some? Yeah, my dogs do the same thing!

While I certainly don’t like to overdo it on the people food, I am guilty of giving my dogs a piece of cheese or a bite of my chicken from time to time. Oh, did I mention I whip them up their own plate of eggs on weekends?

This is a photo of my little man, Diego. HE LOVES HIS WEEKEND EGGS! As soon as I reach for my small plates and start chopping up the eggs into tiny pieces, he knows they’re for him. His tail starts wagging at a mile a minute! It’s truly a sight that melts my heart ❤

THE HUMAN FOODS YOUR DOGS CAN AND CAN’T EAT

Your dog’s body processes human foods differently than yours does. Some human foods are considered toxic to your dog. If they get their chops on those “no-no” foods, it can result in severe illness or even death. So if you are going to spoil your fur baby with some human snacks, it’s very important to know what human foods dogs can eat (and which ones they can’t)! ABOUT THE AUTHORPROUD DOG MOM

I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. Right now, I raise two precious pooches. I have a two-year-old Chihuahua, Diego, and a one-year-old toy Poodle, Gigi. They are truly the loves of my life! When I am not working as a freelance writer and social media manager, you can usually find me playing with my pups! We love taking trips to the dog park and going for hikes. I also enjoy traveling with my fur babies. Along with being a proud dog mom, I’m a former breeder and former member of my local chapter of The Poodle Club of America. Over the years, I have learned a lot about raising and caring for dogs. As I continue to learn, I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you!
